Piece of cake 

Meaning: Very easy

 Example: That task was a piece of cake, knocked it over in no time. 

 

Hit the nail on the head 

Meaning: Be exactly right 

Example: You hit the nail on the head with that call. 

 

Bite the bullet 

Meaning: Do something unpleasant 

Example: I’ll just bite the bullet and get it done. 

 

Break the bank 

Meaning: Be very expensive 

Example: Doesn’t have to break the bank, just something decent. 

 

Under the weather 

Meaning: Feeling sick

Example: I’m a bit under the weather today, might take it easy.
